The countryside around Machynlleth is home to a wide array of wildlife and the Ynys-hir RSPB reserve is a great place to spot them. Covering Welsh oak woodland, estuary saltmarsh, grasslands and freshwater pools, you could have the opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife possibly even otters.
The Dyfi Osprey Project is an unmissable day out, it has provided a home to ospreys since 2009 and offers the perfect opportunity to observe ospreys in their natural habitat on the Dyfi river.
