Just 1 hour away from our park is King Arthur’s Labyrinth, one of the best things to do underground! Board a special boat that sails beneath the mountains of Snowdonia and through a magical waterfall as you learn about the history of the red and white dragons. Be amazed by twisting tunnels and caves and learn about ancient stories from Wales’ history. A perfect all-weather activity, the Labyrinth is perfect for families and those with an interest in history told in a fun and engaging way. The site is also home to the Stone Circle maze and Corris Craft Centre.
Next to King Arthur’s Labyrinth is Corris Mine Explorers – winner of the 2020 Best Activity/Experience in Mid Wales Award. Explore and discover the world of slate miners whilst learning about the Braich Goch Slate Mine, which was dug by hand in 1836. An active mine for over 130 years, Corris Mine Explorers offers a unique day out that’s suitable for anyone aged 8 years and up. Get kitted out with all the gear and get ready to explore!
For those who prefer to explore in the great outdoors, just over an hour’s drive away is Hawkstone Park Follies. Set in 100 acres of land, the Follies hosts history at every corner, filled with gothic structures situated in beautiful natural surroundings. The Follies is also a perfect location for nature and wildlife lovers, with an ornamental walk laid out along the spine of the main hill, home to a number of wildlife including over 100 species of birds and mammals such as badgers, foxes and rabbits.

Located at Yr Hwb ‘The Hub’, Get Wet is an exhilarating day of riding the waves on your raft, supported by their experienced team.
